How to Enroll

You have specified time frames from the day you became benefits-eligible to enroll in Wendy’s benefits. Here’s what you need to do.

Step 1: Review Your Options.

Even if you’re new to health care benefits, making choices for you and your family doesn’t have to be complicated. Wendy’s offers benefits designed to help you stay healthy and spend wisely. Read through this site to find out everything you need to know.

Remember! Even if the average hours you work changes during the year, you are still responsible for paying your health care premiums for the calendar year. So be sure you’re making the best choice for your family and budget.

Have questions? Call the Wendy’s Benefits Service Center at 855.557.9603.

Step 2: Decide Who to Cover.

You can cover yourself and:

  • Your legal spouse or eligible Domestic Partner
  • Your child(ren) younger than 26 (including any step, adopted, foster or Domestic Partner’s child)
  • Any physically or mentally disabled dependent children

Extended Family Members: Even if you are a caregiver for an extended family member, they may not be eligible for Wendy’s benefits. Examples include grandchildren (unless you are their legal guardian), parents (even if they live with you), nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Step 3: Enroll!

Medical: You will receive an email from SureCo notifying you that it’s time to select your individual health coverage. This email will be sent to your primary email address on file with Wendy’s. Once you receive the email, create an account to start shopping and comparing medical coverage options. Complete your ICHRA enrollment by the 10th of the month after you become eligible. Visit EnrollMe.SureCo.com or call 949.989.4906 (press 1 for English, press 2 for Spanish).

401(k): Go to EmpowerMyRetirement.com or call 888.411.4015. Eligible employees can enroll at any time.

All Other Benefits: To enroll in all other Wendy’s benefits, visit My.BenefitsNow.com, use the Alight Mobile app or call the Wendy’s Benefits Service Center at 855.557.9603. Click on “Enroll Now” under “Action Needed” to make your selections. Enroll within 30 days of the date you were hired or became eligible for Wendy’s benefits.

Don’t Forget to Verify Your Dependents.

If you enroll dependents in Wendy’s benefits, you will be asked to provide documentation proving their eligibility. Documents can include birth certificates for children (showing that you are the parent) and marriage certificates and federal tax returns for spouses. You will receive a request in the mail or you can provide documentation through the online enrollment process.

What Happens if You Don’t Enroll?

Remember, you have until the 10th of the month after your eligibility date to enroll in medical benefits and 30 days to enroll in all other Wendy’s benefits. If you do not enroll during this time period, you will not have Wendy’s benefits for the current year.

Your initial enrollment period is the only time of year you can make changes to your benefits or who you cover, unless you experience a qualified life event, such as a marriage, divorce or having a baby. Learn more about qualified life events.
