Welcome to Wendy’s!

We’re happy to have you on our team. We have a full menu of benefits to help you stay healthy and save money. Health care coverage is just the beginning — Wendy’s offers employee discounts, retirement savings and more!

Whatever your role, you are important to our company’s success. That’s why Wendy’s pays a large share of your medical plan costs.

Browse this site as you prepare to enroll and anytime throughout the year. You’ll find all the plan and cost details you need, tips to make the most of your plans and helpful contacts for when you have questions.

Important!

You must enroll within 30 days following your date of hire or the date you became eligible for benefits. Your initial enrollment period is the only time of year you can make changes to your benefits or who you cover, unless you have a qualified change in status because of a life event like a marriage, birth, adoption or death.

Top 5 Things to Know About Wendy’s Benefits

1. You must enroll within the first 30 days of your date of hire or the day you moved into a benefits-eligible position.

If you do not, you will not have Wendy’s benefits in the current year and your next opportunity to enroll will be during Annual Enrollment with benefits beginning January 1 of the new year. However, if you have been promoted and were previously enrolled in benefits, your current benefit elections will continue unless you choose to make any changes. Learn how to enroll.

Your benefit elections will take effect on the 31st day from your date of hire or the date you became eligible for benefits.

2. Save big with medical premium discounts!

Here are some quick and easy ways to save on your medical premiums throughout the year:

  • Sign up for Sydney Health and you’ll receive a $5 medical premium discount each biweekly paycheck. Sydney Health puts everything you need to manage your health care in one place. Learn more about Sydney Health.
  • Certify your tobacco-free status (or commit to a smoking cessation program) during the online enrollment process to save an additional $10 each biweekly paycheck. Your enrollment is your only opportunity to certify your status, so don’t forget!

3. Maximize your Health Savings Account.

If you enroll in a Wendy’s medical plan, you’ll have access to a tax-advantaged account called a Health Savings Account, or HSA, that you can use to pay for eligible health care expenses. Wendy’s makes a contribution to your HSA, and you have the option to contribute money to your account, too — for expenses now and in the future. Plus, Wendy’s will match your HSA contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000 per year! Learn how to make the most of your HSA.

4. Wendy’s will help you save for retirement.

Saving with your Wendy’s 401(k) is a convenient way to prepare for the future — Wendy’s will match part of your contributions to help you prepare even more. You can enroll in the Plan or change your contributions at any time. Understand how the 401(k) Plan works.
