Family Medical Leave of Absence

All employees are eligible to take a leave of absence. Your leave options are based on your position, tenure and need. Common reasons for leave of absence include:

Maternity leave
Illness or injury
Care for an immediate family member
Military leave

Some leaves are paid and some are unpaid. Consult the Wendy’s leave policies and with your local Human Resources (HR) representative to determine your eligibility and options. Here’s who to contact if you want to begin a leave:

Contact Matrix Absence Management to schedule a future Family Medical Leave as soon as you know you will be taking the leave. However, if the leave is unplanned (such as in an emergency), make contact as soon as possible.
