Wendy’s automatically pays for Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance for you. You can also purchase additional levels of insurance coverage for yourself, your spouse/Domestic Partner and your children/children of your Domestic Partner.

Employee Life: 1x your annual base salary
AD&D: 1x your annual base salary
Can purchase in increments of $10,000
Can elect up to the lesser of 3x your annual base salary or $750,000 in additional life insurance without providing evidence of insurability
Can elect $1.5 million in combined basic and optional life insurance, but you will need to answer additional health questions
Spouse/DP1 No Coverage Can purchase in increments of $10,000, up to a total of $250,000, but no more than 100% of your combined basic and optional life insurance
Children/DP Children1 No Coverage $10,000
1 DP stands for Domestic Partner.

 

Designate your Beneficiary

It’s important to designate a beneficiary. A beneficiary is the person or legal entity that will receive the proceeds from your life insurance benefit in the event of your death.
