There are some important changes you need to be aware of as you think about enrolling in your benefits for next year.

We are making changes to some of our medical plan designs. Deductibles will increase slightly for the MyChoice 90 medical plan to comply with IRS requirements. As a result of these changes, the each family member out-of-pocket maximum will also increase. Remember to use the estimator tool during enrollment to help you decide which plan is best for you and your family.

Contribution changes. There will be changes to some contributions under the medical plan. Dental and vision contributions will increase slightly, reflective of rising health care costs. Consistent with our benefits philosophy and competitive practice, Wendy’s will continue to pay the majority of your cost of coverage. The premiums for 2025 are available on the Medical, Dental and Vision pages.

New! Enhanced coverage when you use an Anthem Blue Distinction Center (BDC). Specialty care obtained at a BDC will be covered at 100% after your deductible. Find a BDC facility at anthem.com for back, maternity, cancer care, and more!

New! Enhanced fertility coverage. Wendy’s annually benchmarks our plans to ensure that benefits are competitive and makes enhancements to better support you. In addition to infertility diagnosis being covered, Wendy’s medical plans will also include coverage for fertility treatment/family-building services up to $15,000.

Rehabilitation therapy transition. Rehab therapy will now be a combination of 60 sessions per modality for physical, speech, and occupational therapies.

Increased support for new moms. Breast milk shipping reimbursement for nursing mothers on business travel will increase from one to two years after birth. Review the Travel & Expense Policy on WeConnect for more details.


HSA/FSA platform upgrade.
Beginning in 2025, you will manage your Health Savings Account (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (LPFSA and DCFSA) via an upgraded platform. There will be a short blackout period for reimbursements during the transition. Stay tuned for additional information on this important change.
